He fled to Switzerland and was granted a residence permit in Zurich. His passionate pacifist and anarchist convictions, his lifelong struggle against the authorities and his frequent imprisonments shaped his life. He met his partner Pia Zanolli in Zurich. Because of an unjustified accusation of involvement in an anarchist bomb attack, he spent seven months in Zurich cantonal prison and was expelled from Switzerland in 1919. Bruno returned to Italy and finished his studies in Naples. Pia followed him and from then on stood by his side without reservation. Mussolini banished him to the island of Ponza because of his political activism. He was released after two years and devoted himself with great zeal to his long-standing project of promoting the economic development of Calabria, which is rich in natural resources, including the construction of a glass factory. His project was thwarted by slander. In 1936, suffering from a brain tumor, Bruno Misèfari died in Rome. Twenty-five years later, Pia Zanolli Misèfari wrote his biography. In doing so, she also left behind a picture of her own personality and set an example against fascism.

Order in German:

Available at Reconfigure
CHF 50.-
ISBN Nr: 978-3-033-10968-1

Vom guten Umgang mit Differenzen
Mediatives Denken

In this small, German-language book the author, Dr. Noa Zanolli, explains what mediative thinking is, how everyone can learn and apply it when striving for mutual understanding and wanting to resolve differences—whatever they may be about—respectfully and effectively.

Cover illustration: Esther Fischer-Homberger.

How to order:

Available from Wolfgang Metzner Verlag and other German language book stores.
Can also be purchased as an e-book in many online shops.
€14,80
Hardcover, 96 Pages
ISBN 978-3-96117-062-3

1999 Mobbing, Emotional Abuse in the American Workplace, 3rd printing, 2005.

With illustrations by Sabra Vidali. Bush and Sheikh Osama bin Laden sit down and talk like two human beings. In their conversation they discover that they have quite a bit in common. At the end they decide to work together to bring justice to the world. The fictitious conversation, structured as if professionally facilitated, advances a possibility, a vision. Its aim is to provoke and to trigger something in the minds of people who grapple with the question: What could we do other than to resort to war, terror, and violence because of ideological differences? How can we construct a new reality-peacefully? The dialogue revolves around one of the most pressing and serious issues of our times. Yet, the material is presented as a satire. The text is addressed to persons interested in politics, conflict management, and peacebuilding. It can well be used as a teaching tool. It will also contribute to many spirited conversations.

Ordering Information

The title is listed at www.iuniverse.com
It can also be ordered at: www.amazon.com
and at Barnes & Noble www.barnesandnoble.com:
Title: I have a Dream: A Conversation between President George W.
